Training Announcement:
Join the Children’s Grief Center as a Volunteer Group Facilitator!

The Children’s Grief Center is training a new cohort to join our team of Volunteer Group Facilitators in assisting bereaved children, teens, and their caregivers. The next training will be held on Saturday, July 15th, 9am-4pm and Saturday, July 22nd, 9am-4pm at our eastside location, located at 11625 E. Pellicano, Suite B. Registration is limited and closes by July 7th

Volunteer Group Facilitators receive in-depth initial training (12 hours) and ongoing support in their role as co-facilitators of weekly grief support groups on Thursday evenings (6:00-9:00 pm) at our Center. We ask for a minimum one-year commitment of service.

Cant make the July training but are interested in serving in this role?
CGC offers quarterly volunteer training opportunities.
Future dates are:
Saturdays, October 28 and November 4, 2023
and
Saturdays, January 27 and February 3.
