Become a Volunteer Group Facilitator

We seek to provide a safe, empathic, and inclusive group space in which children, youth and their caregivers are supported by caring adults to work through their grief process in the presence of other bereaved youth and families.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
  • Volunteers must commit to a minimum of one year.
  • Volunteers must provide their most recent resume.
  • Volunteers must pass a background check and provide references.
  • Volunteers must pay a one-time $25 fee to cover the cost of the background check.

PROCESS

  • Complete inquiry form and interest call.
  • Complete application form, confidentiality form, and pass background check.
  • Actively participate and complete two-day volunteer training prior to facilitating youth or caregiver groups.
