Subaru El Paso Shares the Love with Children’s Grief Center Through Generous Donation

El Paso, TX – April 15, 2025 – The Children’s Grief Center of El Paso (CGC), celebrating 30 years of service to the region, is honored to be the recipient of a generous $45,793.30 donation from Subaru El Paso, presented as part of the 2024 Subaru Share the Love® Event. CGC was proudly selected as Subaru El Paso’s Hometown Charity of Choice, with funds raised during the national campaign to support the organization’s mission of providing healing support to grieving children and families in the El Paso region.

A formal Check Presentation Ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 15, at 2:00 PM at the Group 1 Subaru El Paso at 1444 Airway Blvd El Paso, TX 79925. Community members, Subaru El Paso representatives, CGC staff, and local media are invited to join in celebrating this impactful moment. This vital contribution will directly support CGC’s grief support services, including peer groups, therapy, school-based programs, and its annual Good Grief Summer Camp.

The donation marks a significant step forward in CGC’s mission to promote healing and well-being among grieving youth and their families. CGC is currently accepting new participants for its individual grief therapy program for death-related grief, with no waitlist. CGC’s Executive Director, Kathy Revtyak, LCSW-S, shared:

“We are honored to have been selected by Subaru El Paso. Partnerships like the one we have established with General Manager Barbara Armendariz, Matthew Valenzuela, and their entire team help us elevate our impact and service to the El Paso community.”
